The Russ Holmes Work File consists of over 45,000 pages of records relating to the
JFK assassination, released as a batch in 1998 through 2000. This collection is part of the
so-called "Segregated Collection" of CIA records accessible to the House Select Committee
on Assassinations (HSCA) during its investigation in the late 1970s. The Russ Holmes Collection is vast,
covering cables, memos, transcripts, newspaper clippings, and a variety of other documents
on Oswald's trip to Mexico City, CIA liaison with the Warren Commission and HSCA, CIA monitoring
of the Garrison investigation, Yuri Nosenko, and much more.
The set of documents listed here
is a small sample of the entire collection, which is available in an 8-CDROM set (see Catalog).
